Gunther forced Jey Uso to tap out in a dominant and shocking appearance on WWE Raw to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. The game was fierce throughout with Gunther displaying his vicious offense and Jey showing his durability. However, eventually, The Ring General rose high once more, making the WWE Universe remember why he is one of the most powerful forces in the contemporary wrestling.

CM Punk issued a challenge to Undisputed Champion John Cena to a title match at Night of Champions
AJ Styles def. Chad Gable
Chad Gable took it to AJ Styles, who was rendered discombobulated following a vicious German suplex and an otherworldly headbutt off the top rope.
Styles attempted the Phenomenal Forearm, however Gable countered into an Ankle Lock.
Eventually Styles hit the Styles Clash to get the victory.
Roxanne Perez def. Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan and Kairi Sane in Fatal 4-Way Match to continue in the Queen of the Ring Tournament E Champion John Cena to a championship match at Night of Champions
A place in the semifinals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament was on the line as Rhea Ripley, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez and Kairi Sane went to war.
Perez and Morgan reached an agreement to collaborate and they complemented each other very well by dumping Sane outside the ring onto Ripley.
Ripley was subsequently attacked by WWE Women Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez after Morgan hit a Riptide on her, thus saving the match on behalf of her partner.
Sane then hit a follows up Insane Elbow on Morgan, followed by Perez pinning Sane to earn the pinfall and move forward.

Sami Zayn beat Bron Breakker, Penta and Dominik Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way Match to proceed in King of the Ring Tournament
Sami Zayn, Bron Breakker, Penta and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio clashed in a Fatal 4-Way King of the Ring First-Round Match.
Breakker stuck Mysterio with a spine-tingling Spear through the announce table.
Mysterio attempted to combinate Zayn with the Three Amigos, but Zayn reversed it with the Blue Thunder Bomb.
Penta pinned Mysterio using the Mexican Destroyer, but Breakker prevented the fall of the match.
Following Breakker delivering an almighty Spear to Penta at ringside, LA Knight appeared to destroy Breakker with a BFT.
This enabled Zayn to land Helluva Kick on Mysterio to proceed to the King of the Ring Tournament Semifinals.
World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso defended his championship against Gunther, whom he defeated at WrestleMania 41.
Uso went into the match already having been tested in battle during Money in the Bank weekend, so he was neutral, and The Ring General was the fresh one.
Uso brought it to Gunther early, taking The Ring General out of his rhythm.
Gunther however zeroed in on the injured ribs of Uso, attacking the injured part.
Gunther opted to go for a huge splash, however Uso dodged and Gunther ate a Spear, followed by a Uso Splash that only got a long two-count.
Gunther Speared Uso but Uso bravely continued the match.
Uso struck a Spear, and attempted to follow up with another Uso Splash, but Gunther dodged and applied the Sleeper Hold.
Following Uso countering and hitting Gunther with a Sleeper hold, The Ring General reversed the Sleeper hold on Uso and held it until Uso passed out to make him a two-time World Heavyweight Champion.
