Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta
Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio will face Penta in a much-anticipated rematch for the title at Backlash.
“Dirty” Dom won the title at WrestleMania in a chaotic Fatal 4-Way Match against Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and Pentathough Penta was never pinned. The next night on Raw, Mysterio beat Penta in a one-on-one match, but only after JD McDonagh interfered to help him win.
Now that Penta has defeated McDonagh, he’s focused on getting revenge and taking the Intercontinental Title from Mysterio.
Dominik may be known for his dirty tricks, but he’s still a real threat in the ring. The big question is: can he stop Penta again? And will Judgment Day be united, especially with Liv Morgan off filming a movie?
