Roman Reigns had a heated moment with Paul Heyman, and things got worse when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed tried to take him down. Just when it looked bad, Jey Uso ran in to help Roman. Elsewhere, CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther had a tense staredown, building hype for their rivalry. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria also raised the excitement for their Women’s Intercontinental Title match at SummerSlam. And there was much more action throughout the night!
CM Punk and Gunther had a heated face-to-face confrontation.
Sheamus def. Rusev
Sheamus and Rusev went head-to-head in a brutal battle. Sheamus hit a big clothesline off the top rope, but Rusev slammed him onto the announce table.
Sheamus fired back with his signature 10 Beats of the Bodhran and went for the Brogue Kick, but Rusev dodged it and delivered a powerful powerbomb.
Rusev tried for his Machka Kick, but Sheamus hit a knee strike, leaving both men down. Rusev then locked in the Accolade, but Sheamus managed to escape.
Rusev removed the turnbuckle pad, but it backfired when Sheamus sent him face-first into the exposed steel. While the referee wasn’t looking, Rusev grabbed Sheamus shillelagh but before he could use it, Sheamus nailed the Brogue Kick and got the win.
Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro win No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Tag Team Match
All three teams The Creed Brothers, The New Day, and LWO’s Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro fought hard for the win. Things got chaotic when Ivy Nile tried to help The Creed Brothers, but Dragon Lee stepped in to stop her.
Then El Grande Americano showed up and took out Dragon Lee, getting into a fight with American Made at ringside. The distraction gave LWO the perfect opening, and they took advantage to score the win and become No. 1 contenders for the tag team titles.
Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria agreed to increased stakes at SummerSlam
Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez def. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria teamed up to finally use their WrestleMania tag title opportunity, challenging Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
The challengers gave it their all, even trying a double suplex on Raquel but “Big Mami Cool” powered through and suplexed both of them instead.
Bayley nearly won the match after landing her signature elbow drop, but Raquel broke up the pin. Then things got wild Dominik Mysterio tried to interfere but got accidentally kicked by Raquel. While medical staff checked on him, AJ Styles showed up and attacked Dominik.
In another twist, Becky Lynch suddenly appeared and ambushed Valkyria, giving Raquel the chance to hit Tejana Bomb on Bayley and secure the win to retain the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

IYO SKY vs. Stephane Vaquer Ends in No-Contest
IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer faced off once again, looking to settle things after their last match ended without a winner. The action was fierce—SKY went for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Vaquer countered with a brutal knee to the throat on the apron. She followed up with her signature Devil’s Kiss, hitting it both outside and inside the ring.
Just as Vaquer delivered a stunning reverse suplex off the top rope, the match was interrupted when Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, and Piper Niven stormed the ring and attacked her.
Both Vaquer and SKY fought back, but then Women’s World Champion Naomi ambushed them. Luckily, Rhea Ripley made a surprise return to help Vaquer and SKY fight off the attackers, standing tall alongside them.
